Man talk about a delicious, hidden gem, hole in the wall place to grab a delicious, unique bite to eat. This place has cool vibes, good service and amazing food. I'll definitely give it another try!
Wonderful little place tucked into an older part of town with delicious food to enjoy. I pretty much always go with the Monte Cristo (although I have tried others). The blend of flavors is amazing and then you dip it in the raspberry jelly just sends my taste buds over the top. I also had the sweet potato fries, crunchy on the outside with the help of large crystals of salt and tender and tasty inside to make my mouth water just thinking about it. Many different options and varieties of items to make you coming back for more to try them all.
I ordered the deep fried Monte cristo and it was done just weirdly where there was a ball of meat in the middle VS layered like other places. There was more breading by far than meat and cheese on the inside. Couldn't finish it, mate was tough and dry!
Loved it! I haven't been in a while, but totally worth going back. I got the 6-cheese sandwich and it was soooo good. I also had a few bites of my brother's sandwich, which was the pulled pork mac and cheese- I'm getting that next time!
Only bad thing I have to say is that the dipper cups are wayyyy too small for the amount you want for your sandwich, but the next size up (the cup) is wayyyyy too big! Need to have an intermediate size that's just right. Haha
Horrible experience at a fun, local business that I've driven past and heard about for years. I ordered a simple order, and the restaurant wasn't too busy, but it took 30+ min for two small mac & cheeses, and even then our whole order wasn't ready.
We ordered at 12:30pm and finally got the Monte Cristo we ordered at 1:15pm. I've heard about how great this food is for a while, but it's not worth coming here if you can't even have food served to you. Not coming back.
2 stars because the food wasn't bad.
The food is always amazing. But I literally hate the amount of time it takes to get my food. Like 20 min to get a grilled cheese shouldn’t be the case. I can get a full on meal faster than that. I know if I’m coming in. I should plan 20+ min to get my food. You guys really need to find a better way to speed up the food order while making them good.
This place has lots of cheese. Like, litteraly on every dish there is so much. When I came here I got the BLT. It's was pretty much just a really cheesy grilled cheese but with BLT stuff in it. Each bite I took I had take an extra two bite to pull the cheese out.
45 mins to get soup, fries, and 1 sandwhich is INSANE!!!!!!
Especially when you can see all the girls in the back goofing off and eating food scraps with their gloved hands.
It’s not like the restaurant was busy either, only a few other patrons.
Soup was good. That’s about all I can say. Fries were average and room temp. Sandwhich was mushy and weird tasting. This was my first time here and I won’t be back.
